How to List Your Items (The Right Way)

Follow this step-by-step to publish a clean, professional listing that customers can book without back-and-forth.

Choose the listing type that fits your item

Select Daily Rental or Hourly Rental depending on how you hire this item. Choose what customers actually book you for.

Pick the best category

Choose the category customers would browse (e.g. Jumping Castles, Backdrops & Arches, Balloons & Garlands).

If your item category isn’t listed, choose Other and our team will review and add it. If you think your item makes a party better, it belongs on this platform.

Fill in your item details (in this order)

Listing title — Name your item (e.g. White Marquee 6×3m).

Item Size and Capacity — Dimensions and safe capacity.

Pricing (bookable)

Set exact bookable prices. Never write “from $X” — customers must be able to click and book at the price shown. Use variations to cover delivery, setup, or bundled services.

Good Example
  • Hire Only — $600
  • Hire + Delivery — $750
  • Hire + Delivery + Setup — $880

✅ Clear, bookable options for different customer needs. Customers will see these as a dropdown choice during checkout.

Bad Example

“Jumping Castle — from $600”

🚫 Misleading — the system will only book at $600, and you can’t charge more after the booking is made.

Pro Tip: If setup requires extra staff or travel, make that a separate variation. That way customers book the correct service upfront — no awkward price changes later.

Other Pricing Examples

Marquee Hire

Base hire price + optional add-ons (e.g. sidewalls, flooring) as variations. This lets customers build the exact package they want.

Chair Hire

Variation for Chair Only vs Chair + Linen. Keeps pricing clear and avoids creating multiple listings for the same item.

Packages

“Kids Party Bundle” (castle + table + 10 chairs) priced as a single variation. Makes checkout simple and ensures customers don’t miss key add-ons.
